Heat up 300 ml of water. Place the filter paper on the detachable sieve. Rinse the filter off with hot water to wash out papery flavours. Also warm the brew chamber and decanter with hot water.

Scoop out 1 spoon (17gms) of freshly roasted coffee in the measuring spoon if you don’t have a weighing scale. Grind size would be medium to fine.

Invert the Aeropress and add grind to the chamber. Pour 220 gms (until 4 mark) of water in 10 secs to saturate all of the grinds.

With a stirrer give the mixture a quick stir.

Screw the filter onto the chamber. Allow the coffee to brew in the chamber for 1:30 min.

Now invert the Aeropress on a decanter/collector and apply even pressure to start brewing for over 1: 30 mins. Hissing sound indicates the completion of the brew.

The hot cup of pressure extracted coffee will be ready!
