Aero Press

Step 1

Heat up 300 ml of water. Place the filter paper on the detachable sieve. Rinse the filter off with hot water to wash out papery flavours. Also warm the brew chamber and decanter with hot water.

Step 1

Step 2

Scoop out 1 spoon (17gms) of freshly roasted coffee in the measuring spoon if you don’t have a weighing scale. Grind size would be medium to fine.

Step 2

Step 3

Lock the filter section to the body of the Aeropress. Place the Aero Press on the decanter/mug. Add the grinds to the chamber and pour 220 gms (until 4 mark) of water in 10 secs to saturate all of the grinds.

Step 3

Step 4

With a stirrer give the mixture a quick stir. Now place the plunger at an angle and pull it up slightly to create a pressure seal.

Step 4

Step 5

Allow the coffee to brew in the chamber for 1:30 min.

Step 5

Step 6

Now apply even pressure to start brewing for over 1: 30 mins. Hissing sound indicates the completion of the brew.

Step 6

Step 7

The hot cup of pressure extracted coffee will be ready!
